Bowls provides everyone, young & old, with an opportunity to get fitter and to make new friends, whilst having a lot of fun.
We are actively looking for new members, so whether you are an experienced player, or a novice who fancies trying bowls for the first time, why not come along and see what it’s all about. Click here to find out where we are.
In 2026, Downton Bowling Club are holding four free taster days on Sundays during May:
- Sunday 10th May between 2pm and 4pm
- Sunday 17th May between 2pm and 4pm
- Sunday 24th May between 2pm and 4pm
- Sunday 31st May between 2pm and 4pm
If you cannot make these dates, how about coming along to one of our regular roll-up sessions? They are held every Monday and Friday, starting 20th April. Mondays (except Bank Holidays) from 2pm till 4pm and Fridays from 6pm till 8pm.
All equipment, tuition & light refreshments will be provided free of charge. If you cannot make the taster sessions or the roll ups, please contact us and we will arrange a session with you.
